Meyer Family Vineyards
Color: | Varietal: | Vintage: 2009 | Size:

An exceptional Chardonnay from Old Main Road Vineyard on Naramata Bench, this is already showing signs of being one of the best vintages since we acquired the site in 2006.

Stone fruits such as white peach with hints of fig, white clover and honey on the nose. The palate is seamless from start to finish, beautifully textured with good length. The terroir has a northerly aspect, allowing the grapes to mature gracefully rather than quickly. The long, slow ripening process results in grapes with a vast spectrum of flavors and an elegant minerality.

Fruit parameters at harvest: 23 brix, TA 9.5 g/L, pH 3.32, parameters at bottling, TA 7.3 g/L Alc, 13.5%, pH 3.40
