Vintage Report
We had a pretty normal spring in the Okanagan in 2007. Bud break timing was around average. June was typical in that we had a bit of rain but not enough at the time to affect flowering in any negative way. Early July saw a significant spike in heat followed by cooler somewhat wetter days culminating in a hailstorm which struck Inkameep vineyards. Luckily, due to the timing of the storm - post berry set and pre-verasion - we came out relatively unscathed, some loss in crop but no drop in quality. August was more temperate than usual which allowed for steady photosynthesis resulting in early sugar accumulation. Fortunately for us a cooler latter half of September and October arrested sugar development and helped in allowing the great Okanagan flavours a chance to develop; overall another stellar vintage.

Tasting Notes
The wine weaves intricate flavours of plum, cassis, and fresh tobacco that layer harmoniously with subtle clove and cocoa leading into a concentrated toasty finish.
